★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cooking here is sublime, traditional food, well priced and totally delicious. Prompt and wamr service. We dont usually go to the same place when travelling but this was exceptional so returned, was treated to free wine and raki at the end of the meal, I don't eat meat and there are fabulous choices, the mushroom pie and the feta and spinach brilliany, my husband said the meat was superb. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice restaurant with small menu. Very helpful owners. At a certain moment I wanted to have my own BBQ at my guesthouse but all valley butchers were closed and in papingo there is no butcher, so I contacted the Astraka owner and he sold me some excellent fresh souvlaki.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food, lovely cozy room with fireplace, lovely outside terrace with beautiful view of the Vikos gorge rocks. And did I say amazing food? Central in the village. Totally recommend it. Don't leave without trying the beef in a plum & raisin, sweet wine sauce.
