I did the Athens Free Walking Tour my first night in Athens, and they recommended checking out the Athens Food Tour. I signed up late that night for the following morning. The tour was awesome - full of culinary and cultural insight, as well as a nice range of delicious food. Trevor is incredibly passionate and personable, and I can't recommend him enough! Definitely check out this tour, the quality and value can't be beat!

Loved the combination of stories from the Greek mythology and modern life while I was chewing on all the rich and delicious food he offered us! I'm following Trevor again next time I'm in Athens!! First of all I got really lucky, I was the only person to book the tour for the day and they still went ahead with it, which was really nice of them! So it ended up being a "private tour", really. Trevor was really knowladgleble and gave all the details of the history behind it. He also talked about other cultural aspects and I didn't feel like it was a "forced" conversation, I felt this tour was really easygoing and just insightful. Trevor also gave me a peanut and seasame snack, which is such a nice touch for the tour, he was really talkative even though it was just me. I was able to ask so many questions and cause my friends were going to meet the next day in Santorini and Milos he basically gave me "a list" along the way of things to try there for sure, such as fava. If your doubting of going, think no more and just go! It is worth 100%. I would do it again in a heartbeat. This is the kind of things we should be able to experience, not just the sightseeing. Food is the heart of a culture and I definitely got to try a taste of it. I truly enjoyed it ? many thanks for making my experience in Athens even more wonderful ?

In all honesty it was one of the best tours I ever took. The stories, the tips, the food we tried, the walk around the small streets of the city. I wouldn't know where to start to express my amazement!!! Wear comfortable shoes and don't forget to tip the best guide you will ever meet!!!!

We were lucky to be the only two people that day and that was the highlight of our trip! We are passionate about food and we loved everything that Trevor shared with us, in terms of information, places to check and even recipes. The fact that he showed us elements according to our interests made everything even better. We already tried two of his recipes and Athens will always have a special place in our hearts also because of Trevor and this tour!
