A great Marriott hotel very close to the Piraeus cruise port. It makes it very convenient for catching your cruise the next morning. Avoiding the hassle and time of driving in from downtown Athens or the airport. Great Asian rooftop restaurant with great sunset views.

A very nice hotel with large very well appointed rooms. It has a restaurant, we tried the buffet and like most hotel restaurants, it was overpriced, but ok. Unfortunately the free shuttle would only go downtown and we needed to go to the port. But that's the way it is. Next time in Athens, we will certainly consider this hotel as a top option.

You should use a Hop-on-Hop-off bus but if you need to use a Cab, that's more convenient, relax they're not very expensive at all. The Athens Marriott is centrally located, they have a shuttle bus of their own, and the staff is extremely helpful. See Yanni. Hop-on Hop-off bus stops right in front. Most importantly, we felt safe every place we went. The food is delicious everywhere and fairly priced $$.

Dinner has good choices and services, especially roof top restaurant. Breakfast choice and service was a huge dent in experience. Especially people working during Breakfast missed the smile and vibe. Not at all Marriott standards. Rooms were very decent.

We stayed here in Marriott Athens on March 2022 for our anniversary. We went for a premium bedroom with lounge access due to a very nice experience we had in Marriott Lisbon on February 2020. On check in, we found out the reservation we have fully paid weeks ago was downgraded. We were told we didn’t have lounge access and was offered additional payment if we wanted to include breakfast. After showing the email confirmation of our booking, the receptionist has agreed they were all included. On the first night, I had a chance to look on Marriott Athens website and double checked with our booking. We found out we were given a bedroom less than what we paid. We went downstairs and Yannis who was a receptionist on nights agreed. He said due to inconvenience, he is moving us to junior suite. We thanked him for it but also thought if we hadn’t looked at it and asked, we just have ended up disadvantaged. The lounge that we paid extra for was a big letdown compared to experience we had in Marriott Lisbon. They have 2 hours happy hour in the evening were they serve one plate per person with very small servings of food and that was it. They had one bottle of wine, a fridge with local beers and the one staff who doesn’t stay in the lounge comes out near the 2 hour period is over to lock the fridge, remove the wine and leave the guests with some biscuits and nearly expired fruits. We think it might be because of the pandemic that Marriott standards have gone so low but everybody has been affected by pandemic. We rather book somewhere else next time for our moneys worth.

Great lobby and common areas. The room was fine, no complaints. Be aware that this property is about halfway between the port of Athens and the Athens central district. If you want to be in the city center, choose a different hotel. I have seen this property listed as a 5* hotel. I don't think that I would agree with that.

I think I would call this a business class hotel. I wish it had been more centrally located. You needed a cab or other means of transport to do anything in the city. Count on a 8 to 15 EU trip each cab ride. That being said, the rooms were nice. The restaurant food was good with lots of variety including Greek options. The rooftop bar was outstanding. There were food options available but the selling point here is the view. We sat and enjoyed the view of the art center and fountains at sunset. All around the service was good.

Excellent hotel. By far one of the most luxurious experiences my partner and I have had at a Marriott. The decor, amenities, bar and pool are stunning. Bedding of course is heavenly. Their concierge are some of the best in the city as well. Overall we had a fantastic stay.
