The test center set up at the airport is a complete joke. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid it!

We were standing in the (!)prepayment waiting line(!) for almost 30min before our flight for having a rapid test until a woman came out to say that we havent a sticker , that obvious we should. We were sadly not the only one with the same problem. We all tried to explain the employees in the cash which the problem was, but they were unwilling to hear us or try to solve the problem of so many people. On the other hand they put aggresively a sign of "closed cash" in front of where we were waiting and ignore us at the most. They said that it was our fault waiting in the wrong line. (We had booked in advance our tests and we had paid online. How the prepayment waiting line was the wrong one, i still cannot comprehend.) After all that we asked to talk to the manager. He probably could help us having the test on time without losing our flight. They said there were noone there and we had to call to the center, what i also did. For a long time i couldnt find anyone and when i talked to someone, they said that i have to call in the airport company, where we were namely. Hallo people, we are going to lose our flight even though we are 3h earlier at the airport. Terrible. But it is not over. We would like to cancel our reservation and having a refund. I have written the email asking for a refund , as they told us. Until now i have sent it two times and almost 7-8 days after it i have not an answer and not a refund!! The special part was the blond woman with the cornrow/rasta hairstyle, who spoke to us so loud and with so many nerves. She is complet unable working and serving customers or losing a working problem. The company is so terrible and the worst is its employees. It is so embarassing that such people are working at the airport! I am really sorry!

If you find, as a foreigner, you need to use this group - SHOW CAUTION - There Email Contact inquiry form will consistently fail to work : you will then be forced to use there 'High Fee' Phone number - You pay for there profitable phone income - like calling an Astrology or Sex Talk number in a Western country. There is a warning for this at the beginning of the call - in Greek language only ! I didn't use them beyond this point. Plenty of other places in town...

Whoever is in charge of the Covid testing at the Athens International Airport should in no way be involved in public health! They obviously need to learn about Covid social distancing measures, because I'm pretty sure everyone using your services has caught the illness in your shambolic setup. It was disgraceful! Probably the worst run anything I've ever witnessed, worse than Transavia check in lines, worse than a redeye Ryanair flights where they play the trumpets at full volume and harass you to buy perfume, worse than a shopping trolly with a broken wheel that only turns left. We arrived on Sunday 11th July at 9am, three hours before our flight and we were panicked we had not arrived with enough time once we saw the lack of organisation. I lined up at the sign that said PREPAID BOOKINGS and was yelled at by your staff for standing there - before we booked online and prepaid we rang and were told there would be seperate queues for prepaid bookings and the other customers. Maybe don't put a sign there if you are not using it! When the employees changed the queues there was a stampede which was exceptionally dangerous for older customers and totally avoidable with proper organisation. Desperate, anxious people, packed 10cm apart, then sharing a tiny corridor to the testing room (WHY!!!), running over each others feet with suitcases because you have not thought about all these people having luggage, nor did you employ enough staff to have even one person directing passenger flow or help these customers use your service. It is not the customers job to manage the other customers queries and caution those skipping lines, which is what had to happen. The one star is because we actually got the test in time and made the flight (trust me, we were not confident this would happen), and the testers were polite. Maybe you can take all the money you are making from these tests and book a course in basic business management - you need it! I'll be sure to write to the Athens International Airport and Greek Tourism because this is not the picture of Greek health services that should be painted for tourists in your country, nor the parting impression of a lovely country.
