Super clean and modern apartment with new towels and a nice set of toiletries. Check in was easy and pool open even end October. On street parking available but the spaces are limited.

Totally accidentally booked this suite. Quite happy with our choice - very clean space, own swimming pool just for 6-7 suites, recently built, so everything works perfectly, so never crowded, pool is cleaned very often - every 2-3 days, beach is just 100 m away, many nice restaurants on walking distance, supermarket etc. But just in general Platanias is a very clean and neat village, highly recommended!!!!

What was meant to be a relaxing holiday ended up a nightmare. Do not book through booking.com and do not trust the owner of Athina Suites Platanias. The owner had money taken from my account (even though I said pay at property), which I did - as I thought that money was on hold, alas it turned out it was not. It's complicated. The owner refunded me, then demanded the money back - he claimed he didn't receive the initial money from the bank - I refused to return the money (which was rightfully mine), he threatened me - threatened to throw my stuff out and throw me in the pool, I was not alone, so can completely prove I am not lying. In the end, he turned around saying, well you got your refund, bye. Meaning the bank had proven the money was indeed taken from my account. Booking.com washed their hands - they say they do not have any control of money - they just enable the booking. I felt unsafe and had to leave and book 1 last night in another hotel - with no compensation, feeling anxious and stressed. Dates stayed 14-19 April 2022.
