AVE Medical Services - PVG7+PX AVE Medical Services

AVE charged me € 300 for a service that is up to € 50 (tooth filling). The only thing they did was drive me from Laganos to Zakyntos and back 20 km MAX. If you need a doctor, look in the city, never look for medical services. They will charge you too much!

What a disgusting bureaucratic scam… I went to get checked because for a unexplainable bruise on my toe. I explained that the bruise came out of nowhere, with no pain no swelling. I explained that I was not forcing the leg in any way shape or form. The AVE doctor immediately sent me to a center to get an X-ray(in my mind because there could be danger of blood clot, constricted vein…) Long story short it cost me €320 for an X-ray, an X-ray needed because that is the procedure in case of bruises, but to check for FRACTURES! After taking the X-ray I confronted the doctor regarding the reason for it, I got blew off, the reason being that procedure asked to check for fractures…, on a limb which had mobility, no pain, no swelling(these details were known by the doctor). If you are a tourist, and have any complaints, check with your GP, if possible, and maybe you will know what questions to ask before wasting money. My mistake was that I have only contacted my GP after I got the X-rays. My experience, obviously is subjective.

We wait with ill small child more than 1.30 hours. After the doctor finally see us instead of full attention she goes to check other person. They don’t like childrens in this medical center.
