★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fictional damages included accusing me of supposedly swapping tyres for older ones (!?). Charged 320 Euros to my card, with no damage to the vehicle at all! Went with Avis to avoid this sort of scam; never again. Avoid at all costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was very friendly. I forgot my drivers liscence and everything went fine, though (it was possible to book the car spontaneously on someone else). No problem with the return of the car - the deposit was refunded quickly.

Counter staff were attentive and friendly enough, but returned car with small (less than 2cm) parking lot dent and was charged 500 euro (370 for repair 30 conv fee and 100 tax). I’ve rented from Avis in the Us for years and never seen anything like this. Avis Greece is A local business with the US name.p - the similarities end there. The place admitted that they regularly make money off of cars like this. It’s pretty clearly a cheap way to make a buck. Find somehwere local and more reputable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not really following opening hours, especially in the morning. Staff was not really helpful to be honest. Truth is the deposit of only 50 euros is good selling point but I was not pleased by the attitude of the guy. Rented car here once which was okay but kind of old model. that time there was different dude which was bit more helpful. Second time we asked here again but decided for different company instead which was cheaper, better and nicer in all ways. I say go and look for different options in Kalamata.
