The restaurant serves excellent seafood - a platter for two turned out to be a top choice. The kitchen prepared variety of frutti di mare including delicious shrimps, tasty calamari, lovely mulle and chunk of salmon. This was a true Dionisian Feast. The service was very friendly with excellent language skills. I definitely recommend the place for amatours of tasty local food.

It was the best fish i ever had (the sauce and the vegetables are perfect sides to the fish). The people there are nice and friendly but they looked a little stressed (cause i think everybody wants to eat there). I realy can recommend this restaurant, try the "Sea Bream" you won't regret it!
S	Sn D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice taverna serving what appears to be a standard menu in the area. We ate here twice, mainly because of the friendly team and because it was handy for our hotel. The food was good rather than great - my taramasalata a bit thin and my grilled octopus a little over cooked for my liking. The sea bass tasty but the skin was not as crisp as I would like. Good local wine, great service, good atmosphere but you can get better if you head a little further into town.

Everything we had was absolutely delicious and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The quality of food and the prices cannot be beat. If you are in Zakynthos you must visit Avra at least once!
