A	Andrea Seggie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a lovely little place. It is next to a gyros grill place, a shop(it's expensive so watch out) and a bar. It's not noisy at all. The bar on the complex only plays music until 11pm which is great. They offer snacks and breakfasts, the pool is lovely and the staff are great. It is family run so there is always someone around. Our room was massive, we had a double apartment and it is kept very clean.

The area is quiet but beautiful, perfect for the getaway we wanted, and the essentials are all nearby. The local beach is gorgeous too. 100% will come back and stay again. Thank you! X

P	Phill Burns on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Svoronata is a lovely, quiet resort. Barbara Studios is split between 2 buildings, close to Ai Helis Beach and near to some very good restaurants too. Erato (Barbara's daughter) is super friendly and always helpful. Barbara and the other staff always greet you with a smile and a warm Greek welcome. The grounds are well maintained, the pool area adequate and the rooms comfy and cleaned regularly. Only negative was the cost of the excess charge for AC. €7per day is above most other properties. They work tirelessly, yet still manage a smile. You'll see them at 7am or 1am. It was out 1st stay here but other guests we spoke to had been coming for years, which is a recommendation in itself. I would recommend a hire car (ample free parking is available) as it's not particularly close to any shops and it's the best way to see the beauty of Kefalonia. There's WiFi by the pool/snack bar, so maybe request a room near it if you have internet hungry children with you as the mobile phone signal is pretty dire (for most mobile networks.) Vodafone seems the best but only just.. and if you are stood outside!

We had a lovely two weeks here, the service and hospitality from Barbara, Erato and her team were second to none. The pool was super and the pool bar was a personal favourite. Rooms were very clean, if a little basic but then we don’t go to Greece to stay in our room ;-) Oh and being close-ish to the airport means that transfer times are brief, the location is very good and no noise whatsoever from the planes.

This family run self catering/b&b has a beautiful pool area, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas, a bar stocked with draught cold Mythos and a selection of hot and cold meals. The rooms arent 5 * but they are traditional, clean and the shower is powerful. Choose room 5 if you want shade and an outside area to sit overlooking the beautiful garden. The friendly staff are exceptional and will go out of their way to make you welcome. Central to lovely beaches, supermarket, bars and restaurants and walking distance to a lovely little harbour for boat trips, we would not hesitate to come back to this lovely little place. C	Christine Oates on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Barbara studios for a week and we had a lovely stay. The service was great and the staff were very accommodating to all our needs. We had full English for breakfast which was delicious and kept us going for hours. There was a freshly baked cake daily, which was delicious with a cuppa. I recommend this accommodation if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful holiday. The pool area is very nice and the gardens are extremely pretty. There is a shop close by and a few tavernas, the beach is a 10 minute stroll away but down steep steps. I would stay here again and feel well rested after a week at Barbara studios.
