Green nails due to bacteria, and the worst customer service ever. I went to Beauty in life to make gel nails. And at first I was very satisfied, they looked very nice. 4 days later I noticed something green under the gelnail. At first I thought it was dirty. Didn’t even think about it. That’s why I didn’t contact them yet. But then on the 7th day, my other nail started turning green and this is when I started to get worried that it was bacteria. It turned out that more than just two nails were infected, but I will get back to that later. I went to the salon to complain as soon as I saw the other nail being green, and Kristina was saying that it is just dirt. I shouldn’t worry. She tried to take it off but it wouldn’t go off. (Obviously because it was bacteria and it was spreading because they didn’t do a proper job!) I started having a weird feeling because as she was trying to clean it, she started asking questions to this other girl (who had done my nails), and I got a weird vibe. It was in Greek of course if I had no idea what they were talking about. But I sensed in their tone that something wasn’t all right. So I went to a couple of other salons to get it checked out. And they all said that it was not dirt. This was bacteria and it happened because they didn’t do a proper job. I also contacted my nail salon in Denmark just to be sure. She also said the same thing and that I have to have the nail removed immediately. So I got it removed and then I saw it was green. What makes me most angry and disappointed and even sad, is that Kristina would have let this bacteria spread just not to admit that they made a mistake!! I went back of course to complain again and I required that they remove all the nails and I wanted my money back. They said I should talk to the manager. An hour later, my boyfriend and I met with the manager and ... ohhh boy.... he was not very nice. One of the first things he said was: “If you need money, I can loan you some.” I mean what is that??? And he of course didn’t want to admit the fault. He offered that I got the nails off and they make my nails nice with some shellac or something free of charge. I declined. I wanted the nails off and I wanted my money back. I didn’t trust them anymore. He got angry and started saying a lot of rude things. And then he offered to take us to the dermatologist to have a look at the nail. I declined. Why? Because we only had few days left on Crete and we already spent an hour discussing with the guy. And the closest dermatologist was half an hour away with car. It was already 7.30 PM! I wanted to be done with this ASAP and enjoy what was left of my holidays. We were in a foreign country and we didn’t speak the language. How would I know what he would say to the dermatologist? In the end, they didn’t want to give us the money back, so I at least wanted them removed, which I got - for free. This was the worst service and experience I have ever had with a company. I spent 50€ on these nails.... I can not believe they would let the bacteria spread and get worse just not to admit their fault. Luckily I saw it in time and got it removed in time, so most of it could be cut off. Kristina even told me before (when she told me that it was just dirt) that it is normal that all my nails will he green/brownish when they get removed. I asked several nail experts they all said that this is false. Because this would only be due to the bacteria. Worst service ever! I have never experienced anything like this. I left Crete angry, sad and disappointed. So thank you for that, Beauty In Life.

Serviceminded and good pedikyr! I had the full pedikyr, about 1h. I had some calluses and a tricky broken toenail- Mrs Georgina took great care of my feet and they are now smooth as never before and my nail feels good. Calm environment, clean och you can choose to do small talk or just relax. I highly recommend to go there and treat yourself to some massage or pedikyr.
