Pros: Great location, great house keeping, Cons: room needs a remodel. You can legit remodel this room for the price of our stay. It was gross. The floors were stained yellow, the bathtub did not drain properly. It’s a joke for the price. The free but not so free (charge for anything decent) breakfast was terrible.

If I could choose “zero” stars I would’ve. I have been around the world and never seen anything like this. I visited with my friends. One day we ordered dinner from room service and paid in cash. At the check out we were surprised with the dinner check again and other payments for using the coffee capsules in the room !!! Which are free everywhere except in this hotel. They refused to fix the dinner payment from our final check and when we asked for the manager was rude and mocking us! He kept repeating what we were saying.

Terrible hotel service and almost rude staff. This hotel no where near reflects what a 5 star experience should be, also considering the room rates were €1000 per night. I’ve begun to question whether some of these positive reviews are actually legitimate . The rooms are very small and poorly maintained , the inclusive breakfast actually doesn’t include simple things like toppings on your omelette lol. The staff were rude and condescending when we confronted them about extra charges that we paid for on the check out bill. The hotel manager left the refunded cash on the table and rudely remarked for us to take the money and leave . This place is a joke and it’s staff need to be re trained on proper hospitality and etiquette!

My wife and I stayed in the Belvedere in August 2021 for our honeymoon. We had a voucher from a previous booking which we upgrade to a more premium suite. The suite we were assigned was really not as expected. It was on the ground floor and overlooking the pool so not as much privacy as you would hope for on your honeymoon. We asked to change suites but they were fully booked so were quite disappointed. From here it could have been a disaster but we ended up meeting Christofer Vonglis the GM. He was friendly and listened to our preferences and did everything in his power and more to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. It is easy to see why he has done well in the hospitality sector. From there he, with his staff, made sure we had a wonderful stay and completely turned it around. Finding an alternate suite, service, local recommendations, etc. Everyone's expectations will be different but once it is communicated they adapt and gave us a beautiful stay. Thank you sincerely to Christofer and to the whole team.

If your idea is to stay in a small five-star quiet hotel by town, DO NOT consider Belvedere. Paper thin walled rooms will make deep sleep mission impossible. And one would think it would compensate the dated and tired facilities with good service - think again. The hostile staff will not make you feel welcome.

Nice on the surface with a nice pool, but a few issues at this place. Number one, they nickel and dime you (at top dollar) for every little thing. I think a red bull in the mini fridge was like 12 euro. It's like a slap in the face considering this place is not cheap to begin with. The breakfast is also advertised as being included but if you don't select the trivially complicated option in the booking, then it's also top dollar. Chilling at the pool was mostly great, but again, why do I need to pay $21 for a mixed drink? We're from NYC it's not like we're not used to premium pricing, but it's over the top... It's not like the restaurant was packed. We were the only ones in there. I wonder why... We had some cleanliness issues in the room as well but not considering that in my star rating because they were very happy to allow us to change rooms because of it. Thank you for that.
