★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Χτίστηκε το 1890, σε σχέδια του αρχιτέκτονα Ξενοφώντα Παιονίδη, για να στεγάσει την οικογένεια του Περικλή Χατζηλαζάρου, εύπορου Έλληνα τραπεζίτη με βρετανική (ή αμερικάνικη) υπηκοότητα. Παντρεμένος με Αμερικανίδα, διετέλεσε υποπρόξενος των ΗΠΑ στην Ελλάδα από το 1870 έως και το 1908. Την σκυτάλη πήρε ο γιος του Κλέων αναλαμβάνοντας θέση πρόξενου. Το 1917, με την εγκατάσταση της κυβέρνησης Βενιζέλου στην Θεσσαλονίκη ο Κλέωνας και η οικογένεια του αναχωρούν για την Γαλλία και μετέπειτα την Ιταλία, λόγω των φιλοβασιλικών τους αισθημάτων. Το 1918 επιστρέφουν και ξαναφεύγουν οριστικά πλεον το 1921 για την Αθήνα. Το σπίτι αγοράζει η οικογένεια Σιάγα, στην κατοχή της οποίας παραμένει μέχρι και σήμερα. Ο Κλέωνας Χατζηλαζάρου και η σύζυγος του, πεθαίνουν το 1934 στην Αθήνα, χρεωκοπημένοι, ξεπεσμένοι και πιθανώς εξαρτημένοι από την μορφίνη (πηγή:lifo,gr)
 It was built in 1890, according to the plans of the architect Xenophon Paionidis, to house the family of Pericles Hatzilazaros, a wealthy Greek banker with British (or American) citizenship. Married to an American woman, he served as US Deputy Consul in Greece from 1870 to 1908. Cleon's son took over as consul. In 1917, with the establishment of the Venizelos government in Thessaloniki, Cleon and his family left for France and later Italy, due to their pro-royal sentiments. In 1918 they return and leave again definitively in 1921 for Athens. The house is bought by the Siaga family, who still own it today. Kleonas Chatzilazarou and his wife, die in 1934 in Athens, bankrupt, fallen and possibly addicted to morphine (source: lifo, gr)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Άλλη μια έπαυλη, από τις λίγες που απέμειναν πλέον, της παλαιάς αρχοντικής συνοικίας των Εξοχών, που αφέθηκε να ρημάζει σιγά σιγά από τους ιδιοκτήτες της. Παρόλο που κατοικούνταν μέχρι πρόσφατα, ειναι εμφανείς οι φθορές του χρόνου. Δυστυχώς η κρατική μέριμνα για τα διατηρητέα είναι μηδαμινή ή ανύπαρκτη και συχνά το κόστος συντήρησης υπερβαίνει τις δυνατότητες των ιδιοκτητών.
Another villa, one of the few that remain, of the old manorial district of Exochon, which was left to be slowly demolished by its owners. Although inhabited until recently, the wear and tear of time is evident. Unfortunately, the state care for the preserved is negligible or non-existent and often the maintenance cost exceeds the possibilities of the owners.
