A quiet place which is truly perfect for a romantic date. The menu is good on both sides food and beverages, however I will recommend to develop the non-alcohol beverages selection which should be more diversed. Tasty cocktails as well. Chicken well cooked and a yummy pesto coming with the burrata. I was expecting something better for the desert (Chocolate to creamy). But I strongly recommend this place.

It is in the back of the museum with lots of greenery around and located in a beautiful garden away from the hustle and bustle of the busy roads outside of the museum. You will find a friendly staff here and many trees and plants. It is a special place to sit and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. You can even watch some small birds in the trees. In summer it offers a great place to escape the sunshine and find some shade. The homemade lemonade mith mastiha ist delicious and some snacks are served here too.
K	Karitas Mitrogogos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to visit this lovely outdoor, centrally located garden café/bar frequently in the past and thus today, on a beautiful autumn Sunday morning following a visit to the Athens City Museum ... next door ... I was happy to return! ? The atmosphere was just as as relaxed & pleasant as I remembered. The coffee was good and the service prompt, attentive and friendly. ?? Although we had planned to have coffee only, on the spur of the moment ... with happy food memories from the past on my mind ... I convinced my friends to try something from the place's new brunch menu. I wish I hadn't as both the smoked brioche sandwich and the pancakes, that I ordered, with the sauce on the side were most disappointing ... and definitely missing all the sparkle of the past! It hurts me to write this, but the pancakes, were about the worst I've ever tasted in Athens! ?? At least the presentation was simple & nice & the hazelnut crumble tops (as seen in photo) ? ... which gives me some hope that whoever made the pancakes today has some potential that will perhaps shine on another day!? Having said this, I will definitely go back to enjoy the places vibes .... with beverages only! ?

The menu is sublime. The time you can take to rest and revive even lovelier. Eat all the things. My favorite was the fresh tomatoes and the bread but it was all gorgeously presented. I didn't feel rushed. I felt enveloped in light and color and flavor and love.

Good coffee. 3 different areas, the one of them (like garden-garden) opens around 11am. Polite and helpful stuff. Can imagine how helpful this place is in the summer. Worths to mention that toilet has changing table for babies. Definitely will come back and will recommend to friends.
