Blueground | Furnished Apartments - Imvrou 1

I had the opportunity to stay in one of apartments in Istanbul and overall experience was super! Cozy & fully equipped apartment with everything necessary to feel like home from day one! Two small issues I had with WiFi and A/C was solved same day! Great support! PS. Amazing Views from apartment :D

The strengths of blue ground are the locations of their units, and interior design. You definitely pay for it. I've stayed in both 719 Kifisia and 760 Glyfada rentals and the locations have been excellent. Unfortunately the rental service is only as good as the building you're renting in. For example Blueground 719 was in a building from 1970 and as a result suffered from old construction resulting in excessive mold and humidity problems with water dripping in the master bedroom after several rainfalls and cooler temperatures in the winter. I moved out of this location before Blueground could do anything about the problem. I'm not sure what they would have done had I stayed. The moving process was very smooth both times and I found staff to be responsive for the most part. In both apartments there were problems upon moving in for example in-floor heating not working or a shower drain being clogged or the washing machine being moldy from disuse. However I felt like I was heard when contacting their support team and they sent people to fix the problems in a timely fashion. I would say the biggest downsides to renting with Blueground relate to their payment structure & acquisition process. What I did not know initially was that although my apartment was said to be available 2 months prior to move in Blueground later informed me that I would only know if it was still available 30 days before the move in. This is great if you're already living in a place and want flexibility with lease extension but if you are the one trying to move in and plan a move especially from far away you can be left without the apartment you desire with little time to find a substitute. The other challenge as mentioned is the lack of flexibility in payment structure. If you want a reasonable price you must pay for your full term in advance which is a hefty sum if you are looking at a one-year stay. If you are, however, a prospective renter, this is great for you. Overall I would recommend Blueground as a straightforward, stylish short-term rental service. I suspect they are a more valuable service somewhere like Athens where finding a quality rental depends very much on who you know vs. the North American market where it is very easy to search for the right place online and find it yourself. Blueground brings the North American rental market's easy user experience to the whole world.

We rented a 3-bedroom apartment in Cholargos for 5 weeks due to renovating our house. The final cost was 3500 EUR; rather expensive for a 100 sq.m apartment. Although the house was as advertised and the response from client support was ok, we noticed the first day there was a boiler leak which could create problems to the floors. We informed them but decided to stay in the apartment as it was rather difficult to move again with 2 kids. We simply had to replenish water to the boiler twice per day. The thing is that the gas bill at the end came up to 630 EUR for 5 weeks (!). So all in all it was a problematic experience and we paid much more than we anticipated for 5-week stay. Beware of the hidden costs.

Be CARFUL!!! Save your money and your health. I was giving a property with Mold and dirty bath-shower. Serious hygiene issue. Very poor customer service and support. Blueground clearly is careless about client experience or health. Also, Zero transparency dealing with management and sale team. Save yourself the time & headache, this place is NOT what their claiming to be. Very Disappointing experience. I booked online without viewing as the property looked looked great and clean.

Blueground is offering a well organized service for people that have expectations different than the typical accommodation standards. They are pretty responsive, fast and accurate and also their mobile application is user friendly so you can get what you need almost real-time. The apartments are nicely furnished, the broadband connection is sufficient for business use and last but not least the Blueground staff is well educated on proper customer care.

If you need an apartment where you are going, I recommend them. The apartment was very well equipped and very comfortable for our 8 week stay. Customer service was highly professional. Definitely not cheap, but we got what we paid for, and it was hassle free. Check in and check out was easy. The app worked well.
