D	Dylan Highsmith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had finished a long morning of hiking through the monestaries when we came to Boufidis Greek Taverna, literally the first place we ran into when we descended down the path back to our hotel. We didn't expect much, considering it's the first place on the road up to the monasteries we assumed it got by on location alone. We couldn't have been more wrong. The meatballs were delicious, the fries were perfectly cooked and the pork souvlaki? We had A LOT of souvlaki during our three weeks in Greece, and I mean A LOT - and this was by far and away the best we had on our entire trip. The kind of juicy, perfectly seasoned souvlaki that melts in your mouth and leaves you scarfing down the entire plate. This place is so insanely good, I still dream about that souvlaki weeks later. Our only regret was not going there again for dinner that same day.

Restaurant cook/manager Manoulis makes a great chicken souvlaki, make sure to try it, perfectly cooked - juicy and tender but crispy and grilled on the outside. The young server boy spoke great English and couldn’t have been more eager and helpful. Got some complimentary cherries after dinner too. It’s a yes from us. Thanks!

We order Tzaziki and never came but we discovered later that we paid for it. And we added an extra order of Ribs, we waited a lot and when we asked we discovered that the waitress forgot to place the order. We ended up cancelling it. The Souvlaki, pork chops were awesome. the sausage and the Saganaki (Greek fried cheese) was very good. Service in Greece is usually friendly and efficient. This place's waiters seem to be confused.
