If you only visit one winery this should be it. It is also a lot cheaper than the other tastings with a far better product and experience.

They have 6 locations across Greece, and let you sample from all of their locations in the tasting. They also give you insight to the unique Santorini growing and fermenting process

The inside where you do wine tastings was beautiful and we were able to get a lot of information from our guide! Wonderful experience!

After plans to visit an off-shore volcano went awry due to dangerous weather conditions, we decided to rent a car and drive around the island, checking out (but not laying out on) the black sand beaches, and happened across this winery. During the tour, I remember feeling amazed by learning about the cleverly-pruned vines, grown in the shape of a basket in order to shield the delicate grapes from the wind, yet allow them to benefit from all of the minerals and acidity of the soil. The tasting room was bright and airy, and the staff welcoming--and even though weather outside was not ideal, the Boutari experience for us was a little taste of Santorini's sunshine.

We stopped in off the off chance after a really impersonal and unimpressive visit to Santo, this was 10 times better. It was great to be told the story and history of wine on the island, as well as the history of Boutari as a company. We really enjoyed the experience and tastes of the wine tasting, and safe to say our suitcase is now a bit heavier. If you're looking for an authentic Santorinian wine experience, you've found it!
