Small local feel in a cave like environment away from the big winery feel. Tastings are small but service was top notch. Wine was very good.

Great wine tasting! Inside the cellar 7 wines tasting with great explanation. Reasonable price of 15 euros. Thank you ?

Fantastic wines, beautiful vineyards, and a cool cellar! (Pun intended) EDIT: adding here that I believe this place has the best Vinsanto (wine of Santorini, the island's legendary dessert wine). It's aged much longer than other versions you'll find around, giving it a much more rich flavor and velvety texture. Their Vinsanto is bottled and sold after 15 years, so in 2018 we got a 2003 bottle. It's simply incredible.

My husband and I visited Hatzidakis Winery as part of an organized wine tour that took us to three different wineries. The winery only recently began doing wine tasting tours and they really should keep it up! We had a wonderful visit! The winery itself is very impressive and the wine was absolutely wonderful! Truly some of the best wine we had during our time in Santorini! We saw Hatzidakis wines at some of the Michelin starred restaurants we visited in Athens later on our trip and were very happy to have been able to experience the great wines directly from the source!

Significant price hike. 2 years ago the testing cost 12€. One year ago 15€. Now 20€. We tasted 8-9 different wines (very small amounts 2-3 cl each maximum). 20€ for the equivalent of one glass of wine (0.2l) and a very small amount of cheese that comes with it, is a bit much. The wines are ok, but not eye opening and are way too expensive compared to international wines. This is not a Hatzidakis problem, this is a Santorini problem and you will find the same issue in all the islands wineries. I suppose this is why Santorini doesn’t really Export wine. Only tourists are willing to pay those steep prices.

Lonely little winery. We choose a smaller one for a more intimate experience which is exactly what we got. I wouldn't say it was a super professional tour, but our host was the son of the family, Antonios, and it was very authentic. We did the tasting, then he took us through the winery and showed us their own collection etc. Enjoyed our time there!

The winery of the late Charidimos Hatzidakis, one of the most gifted winemakers of Greece, is a must-do experience in Santorini. Not as famous as Santowines or Sigalas or Argyros, but equally renowned for its wines worldwide, the winery is impressive, built underground in caves, the result of Charidimos’ vision. The tour is detailed, and then you can taste 6 wines for a logical price. Ms. Chryssou, co-runner of the winery, is very polite and willing to answer all your questions about the history, the achievements and the tragedy of the winery. The wines are of excellent quality, all of them organic and vegan certified, the heritage of a visionary and innovative wine-maker who is now recognized in Greece as a genius of wine making.
