Δυστυχώς η ασφαλτος είναι σαθρή και τα οχήματα κινούνται με μονή διαδρομή αναμένοντας φανάρι για να τους επιτραπεί η διάβαση. the lake with the surrounding mountains and the bridge are a landscape of unique beauty that the visitor can admire from the hill of Neraida. Unfortunately the asphalt is loose and the vehicles are moving in a single lane waiting for a traffic light to allow them to cross.
Χ	Χρύσα Τζελέπη on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η γέφυρα Σερβίων είναι μία από τις μακρύτερες και πιο εντυπωσιακές γέφυρες στην Ελλάδα, μήκους 1.372 μέτρων, που πραγματικά αξίζει να τη διασχίσετε αλλά και να τη θαυμάσετε από το χωριό Νεράιδα! Η γέφυρα αποτελεί τμήμα της Εθνικής Οδού Κοζάνης - Λάρισας και βρίσκεται 15 χιλιόμετρα νοτιοανατολικά της Κοζάνης και 7 χιλιόμετρα βορειοδυτικά των Σερβίων. Εγκαινιάστηκε στις 6 Νοεμβρίου 1976, όταν δημιουργήθηκε η τεχνητή λίμνη του Πολυφύτου, στον ποταμό Αλιάκμονα. Τα έργα για την κατασκευή της ξεκίνησαν το 1972 και δόθηκε σε χρήση το 1975. Αποτελείται από 27 γιγάντιες κολώνες που κατασκευάστηκαν όπως και η θεμελίωση, πριν τη δημιουργία της λίμνης. Η γέφυρα όμως αυτή αποτελεί την 5η κατά σειρά στο σημείο, με τις 4 προηγούμενες να έχουνε κατασκευαστεί πριν την δημιουργία του φράγματος και της τεχνητής λίμνης. Η πρώτη γέφυρα κατασκευάστηκε σύμφωνα με πηγές μεταξύ 1884 και 1890. Ήταν μια μεταλλική γέφυρα η οποία ανατινάχτηκε το 1941 από τους συμμάχους για να εμποδίσουν το πέρασμα των Γερμανών. Οι Γερμανοί με την σειρά τους κατασκεύασαν μια ξύλινη γέφυρα η οποία καταστράφηκε από αντάρτες για να καθυστερήσει τα Ιταλικά στρατεύματα που ερχόντουσαν για να συνδράμουν στην μάχη του Φαρδύκαμπου. Το μηχανικό των Ιταλών ήταν αυτό που έφτιαξε την τρίτη στη σειρά γέφυρα η οποία αντικαταστάθηκε από μια μεταλλική το 1953. Η γέφυρα αυτή είναι που έχει μείνει και στην μνήμη πολλών κατοίκων, με αναμνήσεις από το φυλάκιο της χωροφυλακής και την Αγία Βαρβάρα. The Serbion Bridge is one of the longest and most impressive bridges in Greece, 1,372 meters long, which is really worth crossing and admiring from the village of Neraida! The bridge is part of the National Road Kozani - Larissa and is located 15 km southeast of Kozani and 7 km northwest of Serbia. It was inaugurated on November 6, 1976, when the artificial lake of Polyphytos was created, on the river Aliakmonas. Construction work began in 1972 and was commissioned in 1975. It consists of 27 giant columns that were built as well as the foundation, before the creation of the lake. However, this bridge is the 5th in a row at the point, with the previous 4 being built before the construction of the dam and the artificial lake. The first bridge was built, according to sources, between 1884 and 1890. It was a metal bridge that was blown up in 1941 by the Allies to prevent the Germans from crossing. The Germans in turn built a wooden bridge which was destroyed by guerrillas to delay the Italian troops coming to assist in the battle of Fardykampos. The Italian engineer was the one who built the third bridge in a row, which was replaced by a metal one in 1953. This bridge is the one that has remained in the memory of many residents, with memories from the gendarmerie outpost and St. Barbara.
