Ticket to Plakka 2 euros per journey. Make sure you get to the right bus or you can reach the other tip of the island

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Woman at the desk selling tickets was so unfriendly for 1 week. The bus service is good but Pay attention if you go to Pyrgaki, timetable is a bit naif, in my case I saw the last bus leaving 10 mins before the schedule, I had to call a taxi and pay 35€

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people at the office was very friendly and competent, but the bus system in Naxos is way less precise than the average EU ones. In particular, it is not clear where and when they stop along the route, so always ask to the driver. Anyways, all lines start and come back at this place.
The time schedule 'from villages' is very approximative (the dirt roads always have an impact!), so don't bet on the time tables or allow pleeeeenty (i.e., hours) of time if you want to catch your boat - or, just hope the boat will be late likewise, as often happens :D
