★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Κλειστό και εγκαταλελειμμένο στην τύχη του,υπάρχει ένα μεγάλο δωμάτιο μέσα είναι το μόνο που θυμάμαι , είχα μπει μέσα όταν ήμουν πιτσιρίκος σαν παιδί και εγώ εψαχνα μαζί με τα άλλα παιδιά για περιπέτειες.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Κινστέρνα βυζαντινών χρόνων. Εκεί ήταν το αγίασμα του ναού αλλά και δεξαμενή με καθαρό νερό που τροφοδοτούσε τη γύρω περιοχή. Επί τουρκοκρατίας ονομάστηκε Σοουκ Σου -Τζαμί- του Κρυονερίου. Η αρχαιολογική υπηρεσία απαγορεύει την είσοδο.
Cistern of Byzantine times. There was the holy water of the temple but also a tank with clean water that supplied the surrounding area. During the Turkish occupation it was named Souk Sou -Mosque- of Kryoneri. The Archaeological Service prohibits entry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is now an archaeological site so you cannot get in to view inside. There are many historical sites all over Thessaloniki, many of which are not widely known. On Google Maps, just tap the compass to see attractions near you and just explore. It's a shame, most buildings have been defaced with graffiti and sprays. And the buildings do need some maintenance and renovation.
