As we come closer, we find that the lord in question is Eleftherios Venizelos, Prime Minister and Eminent Leader of the Liberation Movement of Greece around and during the First World War. He decided to enter Greece into war on the side of the Allies, and at the end the country won important territories.

It was built in memory of Eleftherios Venizelos, the great Greek statesman. He was born in 1864 and served as the Prime Minister and Prime Minister of Greece seven times. He was later called the father of modern Greece.
