★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice small fortress, really worth a short visit to walk around. But no explanations or anything. You can walk from here to the caves as well, which are quite stunning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really did like the place. It is completely for free and open and you can roam the small area for 10 till 30 minutes. No need to do the extra drive just for this fortress, but if you are anyways in the area, you should make the short stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fascinating place to visit and walk round. The path is a bit uneven in places but very close to the road, which has some parking spots available. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This fortress is a great opportunity to see old ruins and there is a cave 5 mins walk in a beautiful olive orchard. Could be good with children above 5yrs. However the place can be improved by adding some pictures that show medival life.

This old byzantine fortress was build in 13th century. Yet not much of it have survived to this day.
High walls resemble the power of the building that it used to have in the past.
Good place to see and rest a while when going to the Issos beach - not worth taking special excursion to it, becouse it's nowadays mostly rumble, stone walls and few benches in the middle.
