★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Skvela vyhlidka ve 2/3 krkolomne cesty ke klasteru. Pokud se vudete spolehat na GPS, tak upozornuji, ze zde je velmi nepresne (asi ruseno radarem na Korfu). Proto doporucuji stahnout GPS Fix, jinak budete bloudit v ulicckach mestecka pod vyhlidkou nez najdete cestu nahoru? Na vyhlidce je i pristresek pro trochu stinu nebo neprizen pocasi.
Great view in 2/3 of the breakneck road to the cluster. If you can rely on GPS, then I point out that it is very inaccurate (probably disturbed by radar in Corfu). Therefore, I recommend downloading GPS Fix, otherwise you will wander in the streets of the city under the lookout before you find your way up.

Die Schutzhütte hat zwar schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, aber die Aussicht ist das Maß der Dinge.
Great viewpoint on the hiking trail up to the Pantokratores monastery.
The refuge has seen better days, but the view is the measure of all things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a hike, don't get me wrong, but it's a hike with beautiful views through olive groves and natural Greek landscapes. The view over quaint Agios Mattheos is especially lovely, especially if you are staying there. If you continue the trail around to the other side of the peak, there are panoramic views of Korission Lake and much of the south of the island. The Monastery is deserted, but the grounds are very relaxing and picturesque.
