★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δεν συνιστούν κάτι το ιδιαίτερο. Δυστυχώς έχουν ενσωματωθεί στο αστικό στοιχείο (χαμηλά παλιά σπίτια και πολυκατοικίες) και δεν ξεχωρίζουν. Δεν υπάρχει καν κάποια πινακίδα που να περιγράφει την ιστορία τους. Αν έχετε περιορισμένο χρόνο για επίσκεψη στην πόλη, δεν θα συνιστούσα να τα αναζητήσετε...
 They are not something special. Unfortunately, they have been integrated into the urban element (low old houses and apartment buildings) and do not stand out. There is not even a sign that describes their history. If you have limited time to visit the city, I would not recommend looking for them ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δεν ειναι γνωστο ποτε ακριβως κτιστηκαν τα τειχη, αλλα λογικά η κατασκευή ειναι αποτελεσμα επεμβασεων απο την αρχαιοτητα εως την τουρκοκρατια. Η κατασκευη συνδεεται με την οριοθετηση του οικισμου. Υπολογιζεται εντος του περιβολου (με μηκος 850μ) χωρουσαν 250 σπιτια με 1500-2000 ατομα. Το τειχος κτιστηκε για προστασια απο ληστρικες επιδρομες βαρβαρικων φυλλων. Η θεση του τειχους στην κορυφη του υψωματος εδινε την δυνατοτητα ελεγχου της περιοχής. Το υψος εφτανε τα 14μ με παχος 1.7 εως 3.30μ. Μεχρι το 2014 εγιναν καποιες προσπαθειες συντηρησης αλλα τιποτα ουσιαστικό.
It is not known how the walls were built, but logically the construction is the result of interventions from antiquity to the Turkish domination. The construction is related to the demarcation of the settlement. It is estimated that within the perimeter (with a length of 850m) there were 250 houses with 1500-2000 people. The wall was built to protect against barbaric leaf invasions. The position of the wall at the top of the hill made it possible to control the area. The height was 14 m with a thickness of 1.7 to 3.30 m. Until 2014 there were some maintenance efforts but nothing essential.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Byzantine walls are very old. They are located in the old part of town. Hard to find. They do not represent a whole fortress.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible. Hardly anything left. If it were only the ruins, but the place is used as a garbage disposal field. Really unsightly and wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this. There is a great park in Drama. Better visit that.
