★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a good coffee here yesterday afternoon so returned today to find they serve a light breakfast buffet with over 20 items, juice, and we got our specialty coffee and a bottle of water for 10€. Staff is friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the square.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude and petty! Visiting Monemvasia, my husband ordered a beer while I was getting us gelato somewhere else. When ordering it, he noticed that this bar had gelato too, which is very rare in Greece - the freezer was in a back corner. He tried calling me to stop me, but the call didn't go through. When I showed up, the staff rudely told me that we couldn't eat it at the table, so my husband would stand up to take a bite of gelato and then sit down to sip his beer. Astoundingly petty on the part of Byzantino, especially since all the tables were empty (probably for a reason).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for breakfast and coffee (or even lunch or aperitif in the evening) on a square with a sea view. The service was super friendly, and their yoghurt bowl, ice latte and juices were delicious.
