Good coffee above all. But also the right place for a quick snack or a light lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group trip to Greece started and ended with this small tavern near a college campus; we found it by chance on a stroll from our hotel just around the corner. The proprietor, Thassos, was welcoming and friendly, and the food, drinks, and conversation were just what we needed. Being from the US, we appreciated a local taking time to advise and answer our questions about Athens. Over 2 visits, I think we ordered every salad on the menu, all fresh and delicious. Beer, wine, mixed drinks and Greek libations are available.
