★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, very kind and attentive service and - again - delicious food! The price was also excellent. The hosts were accommodating, made good suggestions, and the food they served was generously portioned and very tasty. The order including the marinated octopus (very memorable), fried sardines & anchovies (well seasoned and tasty), tzatziki (great yogurt base), french fries (home made), cucumber & tomato salad (well-seasoned), and fresh orange juice.
Visited this ouzeri yesterday and highly recommend to anyone looking for a flavorful, well-portioned, kindly attended experience in Lixouri.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very traditional Greek cafe/bar. The owners who served us were the most friendly and helpful I have met. I asked for a plate of meat in the middle of the morning and it was no problem she rustled me up a selection freshly cooked juicy and tasty meats. We had drinks and varios other things when I asked for the check it was embarrassingly cheap so I left €20 which included a very good tip and it was worth every cent. This is why we come to Greece.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super delicious, home made food. An Ouzeri is different from a taverna so the dishes are just a bit different from the usual you get, which is a nice change.
The tzatziki was homemade and the best we had in Greece. Very good tomato salad with local Kefalonia cheese. Fried cheese was also very good. Portions are generous. Service super friendly. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little place, conveniently located along the main road - easy walk from the ferry terminal. Our host spoke English, and the 'special' fries are highly recommended. Great food at affordable prices - what more could you need?!?
