★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το κάστρο της Αγίας Παρασκευής, στο Δημοτικό Διαμέρισμα Μεσοχωριού είναι κτισμένο στην κορυφή βραχώδους υψώματος στον Κάμπο Βοιών, «στα μέρη των Βατίκων», όπως αναφέρει το χρονικό του Μορέως. Βρίσκεται κοντά στα χωριά Μεσοχώρι και Φαρακλό, ενώ απέχει από την Νεάπολη 1850μ. Το σημείο ελέγχει στρατηγικά το Λακωνικό κόλπο και την ευρύτερη χερσαία περιοχή.Η θέα είναι υπέροχη και μετά την αναστήλωση αξίζει η επίσκεψη.
 The castle of Agia Paraskevi, in the Municipal District of Mesochori, is built on the top of a rocky hill at Kampos Voion, "in the Vatican", according to the chronicle of Morea. It is located near the villages of Mesochori and Faraklo, and is 1850m from Neapoli. The spot strategically controls the Laconian Bay and the wider land area. The views are magnificent and worth a visit after the restoration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το κάστρο είναι σε πολύ καλή κατάσταση και σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία. Τέτοια μνημεία θα πρέπει να τα φροντίζουμε, να τα αναστηλώνουμε αποκαθιστώντας την παλιά τους αίγλη. Έτσι από απλά κουφάρια μίας άλλης εποχής θα μετατραπούν σε πόλους έλξης για τους επισκέπτες αλλά και τους κατοίκους των κοντινών περιοχών.
The castle is in very good condition and in an excellent location. We should take care of such monuments and restore them to their old glory. So they will be transformed into simple attractions for visitors as well as residents of the surrounding areas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δύο αστέρια γιατί δυστυχώς είναι κλειστό εδώ και τόσο καιρό για το κοινό. Καλύτερα αφήστε το αμάξι στο δρόμο γιατί ο χωματόδρομος όπως και το κάστρο είναι εγκαταλειμμένο.
Κρίμα. Θα μπορούσε να αποτελεί πόλο έλξης. Άλλες περιοχές εκμεταλλεύονται πολύ λιγότερα!
Two stars because unfortunately it has been closed to the public for so long. It is better to leave the car on the road because the dirt road as well as the castle is abandoned.
Pity. It could be an attraction. Other areas are exploiting much less!

Beautiful scenery, a great monument combined with the amazing view compensates every visitor! Unfortunately it is not promoted, I accidentally discovered it but it was also a part of its beauty!
