And the last part hiking or driving with car both possible
I recommend to hike it s just 25 minutes and u can see more and enjoy the nature

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit specially when you want to connect the myths to an actually existing place. The cave where Zeus was born is well hidden in the mountains. Chilly atmosphere place worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there 5pm and nobody was around. Was able to drive all the way to the gate. Side gate at the entrance was open so we kind of slipped in. Alot of birds on the ceiling and a little bit spooky place all alone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cave is supposed to be where Zeus grew up, but I don't think this destination is worth visiting unless you are close to this place. You have to drive more than an hour 40 km per hour up a steep mountain road, the entrance is free, but there is nothing much to see there, just a cave with steps down, some excavations and that's it. If I had knew this before I drove there , I would have chosen to visit the canyon. Do not recommend going there, for the most part just a waste of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The road to get at this cave is fantastic when you come from the south. It’s really off-road but amazing views. The cave itself is not that phenomenal but interesting enough to come over. The site is an old archeological site but no activity anymore. You can see the top of the mountain Psiloritis. Take a sweater with you. It’s quite chilly.
