★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take a break from your days at the beach and explore some fascinating ancient history. You can even come on a hot afternoon if you like, because the archeological site is well shaded, and breezes from the sea keep the the site pleasant. The view alone is worth the trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Considering it was discovered in 1952 the extensive amount of work still required is disappointing. €6 entrance as a general tourist you may be here for 30 minutes.
Saw 1 member of staff walking around the sight watching the world go by, the roof covering is driven into parts of the sight and some of the stuff they are explaining about is under the walkway. Quite a disappointing sight compared to others visited before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Undoubtedly worth the visit. The view is stunning and so is the Palace. We really enjoyed the concept/structure hanging over the ruins allowing visitors to observe and not disrupt while providing a healthy and very much needed shade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a must see in the region. One of the most significant palaces from Ancient Greece, built by a king referenced in Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey. Remarkable bathtub, really well preserved, the only known one from that time period. While you are there also do visit the Archaelogical Museum of Chora.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was fairly quiet when we went. €6 to enter - there isn't a huge area to see but access is via an elevated walkway so it is a good aerial view of the site. There are plenty of information boards dotted about which give some history to elements of the palace, and beautiful illustrations of tman interpretation of the site at the time of its use.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It may not look like much, but the history of this palace is impressive. Very interesting and detailed descriptions. I recommend to add the Chora archaelogy museum to your trip as it has many findings from this palace.
