Cavo Olympo - Plakas

The first thing we noticed as we entered the hotel was the stunning architecture, the next was the smiling, helpful staff. The room was light and airy and had mountain views (see picture). Whilst we were facing the road, we weren't bothered by traffic noise. The food was very good quality, we were breakfast only and tried both a la carte and buffet options in the restaurant in the evenings. I'd recommend trying the buffet at least once during your stay. At lunchtime food is available from the pool bars, and portions are big so a bowl of pasta will fill 2 for lunch! There is an infinity pool, another outdoor pool, and an indoor pool in the spa area. The pools were always quiet, and there were always plenty of loungers free. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would recommend the Cavo Olympo for anyone looking to unwind Tips: walk to the veranda bar (approx 1km) for a change of scenery, though the road has no path the walk isn't bad. The hotel is fairly isolated but reception will help organise a car or taxi if you want a day trip (Litochoro is approx €8 each way)

Not a 5 star hotel. An average 4 star. The service and amenities are just not good enough or comparable to 5 star hotels. Beautiful location at the foot of the Mount Olympus mountain range so a good base for anyone wanting to explore outside of the hotel.

4.5 stars, really They took such good care of us for our anniversary! I would recommend it to anyone. Only "downsides" I experienced was that the music in the bar literally made me want to sleep. But I'm picky about that stuff ?‍♀️ Also, the breakfast is nothing special. It looks so good when you walk in but the flavors aren't there. If I had paid for it I would be disappointed but it was free at least.

Your payment method through your webiste is very inconvenient. We tried to book via the link you send us by mail, but it didn't open. We tried to book through your website, we gave our card details but the reservation was not confirmed. At the next mail you wrote down with really small letters that despite the fact that we already gave our bank account, we had to confirm again our reserve. The result we drove all that way, we didn't have a reservation and the room we wanted was not available! The reception stuff couldn't care less. Really unprofessional behavior. I've been in many 5 star hotels around the world, this payment method I'm seeing for the first time. The man at the spa and the waitress at breakfast were very nice.

Visited the Cavo Olympo hotel with my daughter out of season for a relaxing break. I made a great choice! The hotel is clean, staff are friendly, professional and welcoming. Food was of a high standard - we had a 4-course a-la-carte menu for dinner 3 out of the 4 nights of our stay and lots of choice for breakfast. The spa facilities and indoor pool were wonderful too. With very few guests around we had access to the facilities mostly all to ourselves - we felt spoilt! The hotel is great for couples as it is adults only. There is not much to do within walking distance and the hotel is located off a highway / motorway, so would recommend either hiring a car or booking taxis at reception if you plan to venture out. Can imagine it being a fantastic place to be in the height of the holiday season. However, the lack of crowds suited us fine with the climate we're currently in. I arrived on my birthday and didn't mention it - the receptionist may have realised during check-in. After dinner the waiter bought out a special cake and candle. It was such a thoughtful and totally unexpected gesture. Special thanks and recognition to Dimitri who served our meals most evenings. Didn't get the names of the receptionists, but they were also very helpful. I recommend booking a a room with a sea view - the sunrises are breathtaking. Would highly recommend.

From reservations department , to front office, reception and the rest of the staff - everyone is super professional, polite, with strong will to assist. Fantastic rooms and exceptional breakfast. Its the best place to be if you want relaxing holidays. Recommended 100%! Thank you!

One of the best service We have received. Food is very delicious and prices are great too. The infinity pools makes the whole picture even better :) My wife had a birthday and without us knowing, they gave us cake as a present from the hotel waiting for us in the room.
