Fairly decent spot for a casual dinner. Nice location, perched on top of the ridge, but looking towards Ithaca rather than Cephalonia and the sunset. The service was very polite and attentive. The food is ok, but nothing to write home about. The steak was rather dry, the bifteki not really up to standard, and the salad had literally two drop of olive oil. It’s a pity as the place is really nice and the setting relaxing. A move back to basics would serve this place well.

Amazing balcony with a wonderful view. If you are tired of seafood and want some traditionally cooked meat, this is the place to go. It is a bit overpriced though.

Amazing and very authentic dining experience! The restaurant founded in 1800 by the ancestors of today's owners is a hidden gem! The view is absolutely stunning, the service very nice and welcoming (we showed up 30 min before the official opening but got seated and served without waiting) and the food just amazing. We tasted the Ithaca salad with homemade feta cheese and exceptionally good olive oil and two main dishes with baby goat and everything was delicious. The goat meat which can be tricky to cook well was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious, probably also because it comes from their own farm as well as the feta cheese. The local home wine, despite being a simple table wine, was very good and paired well with the meals! If we come back to Ithaca, we will definitely come again!

Stunning location and views but mixed outcomes with the food. The Greek salad was absolutely huge and delicious - a great start?! Then we had 3 different main meals. Chicken tserepa which was ultimately a bit bland really. Fried calamari which was a big disappointment - only a few pieces were cooked well - the rest were rubbery and unpleasant in flavour (we all tried some to confirm it and we've had this dish on every Greek island we've visited!) Also the chips were floppy and a little undercooked. The redeeming dish ? was the chicken souvlaki which was delicious and this time the chips were outstanding - beautifully crunchy on the outside and wonderfully fluffy on the inside - second only to some French fries I had as a boy from a canal-side cafe when fishing in France with my exchange friend ?. How frustrating then to have both excellent and poor chips served up in the same meal ?. The staff were very friendly and overall we we feel that given the high points of the meal we just got unlucky in ordering two things that didn't quite match them that evening.

Truly excellent food. Unique dishes though still Greek. Felt like local cuisine done well … with a little welcome flair. One of our best meals in Greece. Also was vegetarian friendly
