Best Greek Orthodox church in Greece

S	S TheHamburger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omg! It’s a “must see” situation ! It’s like unreal! Amazing view ! Don’t trust the gps! Ask the local people to be sure you are going right because navigation it’s not always right! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because it’s over 150 vertical stairs! But the view worth the time!
M	Marnie Dreyer-Shaik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the church of Agios Loannis because my partner wanted to see the church that was used to shoot the mama Mia wedding scene. I didn’t think that it would really considering that camera tricks made the church look 20 times bigger than it actually is. What I did find was a church on a remote hill in Greece that had so much character and surrounded by the most beautiful azure water and the best sunny weather ever. This was the reason I ended up in Skopelos but Skopelos turned out to be a great place to spend summer in the Mediterranean.
B	Bence Szabó on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Chapel is on a rock and a stairway is leading up to it so be prepared for a little more than a 100 stairs. The view is spectacular from up there. Sometimes there can be many people but its worth a visit. There a little bar/restaurant nearby and a few parking spots.
L	Lukasz De on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from this place is just spectacular, along with the route itself as you need to go around 130 steps to reach the top on a quite narrow path. However, in my opinion, this is definitely worth it. Very close to it, there is a bar as well. There are also lights there and I believe it may look even better at night.

In order to go there you may need almost an hour from Skopelos center and the main road to go there is via Glossa ask the local people to inform about the proper road because most of the GPS are providing a more difficult way to go there. It's a long and a bit difficult destination but the place it totally worth it.

I	Ina Pekova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the chapel at dawn and it was magical. No other people, and the rising sun just behind the chapel. Some reviews say that it takes an hour to get there, but that's of you start walking from the city of Glossa. There's no much room to park though, so you might want ot go very early if you are driving. The 200 stone carved steps up take no more Tha. 5-10 minutes to climb. It's steep, for me it was a bit scary to go down.
