Ours was super OVERPRICED - we just paid 65€ for two small fishes served with steamed veggies, some wine, raki and small appetizer. FISH ONLY was 45€! I would never expect that as we ordered fresh fish many times before in Crete and price never was that high. So here is a tip for others - ask waiter before ordering for a price - you won't find fresh fish in the menu and, of course, no one will inform you about it as well. Our bad we didn't and paid the price... Apart from this, waiting 45 minutes for the bill is way too long. There are many restaurants in Agios Nikolaos and whoooole Crete where you can have an AMAZING dinner for half of this cost. Not worth the money spent.
J	J C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location next to the sea. The street between sea and restaurant was a bit busy but not disturbing. The food we ordered was well cooked for a surprisingly low price. The waiter was really polite and nice. We can absolutely recommend it!

Coming to Agios Nikolaos from Chania, we were used to when restaurant staff brings something to the table without asking, it is free, be it water, an appetizer or a dessert. Here they asked about water (so we knew it's not free) but charged us for bread and even for a dessert, brought without ordering, which I find outrageous. (4 euros, but still.) Moreover the food was "just good", nothing excellent or exceptional, as the reviews might suggest. To be specific, stuffed zucchini flowers were very good, steamed mussels were good and meat balls very disappointingly average. We've had these meals at better quality and lower price in other restaurants in Crete. Actually of those 7 restaurants we've tried in Crete this week, this would sadly be the penultimate number 6. But - returning to the first sentence here - the restaurant was full of locals so maybe they are just not interested in tourists.

Good and delicious food, with a staff that is friendly, and do anything you want to make your evening experience excellent. The location, by the seafront, tops it all. Since we had to wait for 10 minutes before we got a table we got a welcome drink, and free dessert?
C	Christian U. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place. Can absolutely recommend it. Quality and quantity you get for the price is unbeatable. Not one of the tourist traps in Agios Nikolaos. Try the meze dish with haloumi that's on the picture. Very big beer selection with local IPAs and other specials.
