Halloumi cheese appetiser was CRAZY AMAZING. It came oozing and bubbling , nestled in a still-sizzling phyllo pastry. Gosh.
Grilled prawns had a sea taste, and smoked and grilled to perfection.
Menu items are reduced , due to covid, but when host Andreas says ‘few things but done well’, he means it.

The food was very ok for a lunch.

For the food they use fresh ingredients,well cooked and tasty,in other words family dishes.
My preference was « rabbit cooked n wine « Crete an way.
Plus served kindly and at last the bill is honest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family owned restaurant serving amazing food in a beautiful garden just off the main road in Agios Nikolaos. Been there twice and really enjoyed the rabbit, lamb and sea bream. The village sausage was a winner too. Sea bream was cleaned and beautifully seasoned on the inside. Andreas is a lovely and energetic host. I left as a very happy man afterwards.
