★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Τόσα χρόνια από μικρό παιδί κοιτάζω πάντοτε με έκταση τον πολύ ιδιαίτερο αυτό ναό & ιδιαιτέρως το σκίνωμα του Αγίου. Ένας αλλόθρησκος επισκέπτης θα καθηλωθεί από την μεγαλοπρέπειά του, ένας πιστός θα συγκινηθεί που αξιώθηκε να βρεθεί τόσο κοντά στον θαυματουργό Άγιο. Όμως σίγουρα & οι δύο θα καταλάβουν γιατί ο ναός αυτός είναι συνυφασμένος με την καθημερινή ζωή των Κερκυραίων, με το παρελθόν, το παρόν & σίγουρα με το μέλλον τους.
For so many years, since I was a small child, I have always looked extensively at this very special church & especially the skin of the Saint. A non-religious visitor will be captivated by his grandeur, a believer will be moved to claim to be so close to the miraculous Saint. But surely & the two will understand why this church is intertwined with the daily life of the people of Corfu, with their past, present & certainly with their future.
