★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πανέμορφος ναός, τόσο οπτικά, αλλά πολύ σημαντικότερο, εκκλησιαστικά. Αναλλοίωτο εκκλησιαστικό φρόνημα, και εξαιρετικοί ιερείς π. Θεμιστοκλής, π. Γεώργιος και όλοι οι υπόλοιποι, νεώτεροι και πρεσβύτεροι. Τεράστιο έργο κατήχησης όλων των ηλικιών. Μακάρι κάθε ενορία να γίνει έτσι.. Με ενοριακό πνεύμα και φιλανθρωπία πνευματική και υλική, χωρίς νεοεποχίτικες εκπτώσεις στο φρόνημα.
 Beautiful church, both visually, but much more importantly, ecclesiastically. Unchanged ecclesiastical mindset, and exceptional priests Fr. Themistoklis, Fr. George and all the others, younger and older. Huge catechism work of all ages. May every parish become like this .. With a parish spirit and spiritual and material charity, without new era discounts in mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Καλεσμένος σήμερα στο ναό ο δήθεν ηγούμενος της Μονής Εσφιγμένου. Απορώ με τους υπεύθυνους εφημέριους της Μονής για τούτη την πρόσκληση. Ο πάτερ Θεμιστοκλής δεν έχει ανάγκη από τέτοιες προσωπικότητες, αποτελεί ο ίδιος μια άριστη προσωπικότητα. Για τον κόσμο που δεν γνωρίζει και θα έρθει να παρακολουθήσει μια ομιλία σίγουρα θα είναι μια καλή εικόνα, ένα ωραίο απόγευμα και ένας καλός λόγος από έναν δήθεν αγιορείτη. Για όσους γνωρίζουν όμως ένας τέτοιος ομιλητής είναι ντροπή και δεν είναι νομιμοποιημένος στη συνείδηση των φίλων του Αγίου όρους. Ήμουνα έτοιμος να κάνω 50χλμ. για να έρθω ακούσω τον αληθινό Εσφιγμενιτη Γέροντα και να πάρω την ευχή του. Όμως τελευταία στιγμή πέρασε η σκέψη μου από το μυαλό μπας και έχουν καλέσει τον ψευτοηγουμενο και ξαναείδα το πρόγραμμα του ναού και έβαλα μπιτζαμες...
The so-called abbot of the Monastery of Esfigmenos is invited to the church today. I wonder with the responsible pastors of the Monastery for this invitation. Father Themistocles does not need such personalities, he is an excellent personality. ...when back early fifties was a church smaller than the one we have now and I remember the famous Painter Kontoglou up in the scaffolds painting..in my family my mother was a painter and we used to see Kyrios Fotis Kontoglou working ...now we have a new Church in the place of the old one.The Holy Spirit and our prayers don't change depending on the Church but inside us.i love Patissia and mostly the little churches we have but also this new church is more adequate for the people that are now so much more than the fifties of course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The biggest church of the Municipality of Athens I guess, after Metropolitan Church on Mitropoleos Street. Never been inside tbh, since I'm not the kind of person who goes into churches and such...but this church is a good piece of architecture from the outside, and also links the two mainstays of the area, Jumbo and the train station of Agios Eleftherios.
