Το κυριότερο είναι πως εδώ η βυζαντινή μουσική βρίσκει το ... σπίτι της!!! Beautiful church, warm atmosphere and hearty people. Ι	Ιωάννης Χρήστου on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Εκ πρώτης όψεως η εκκλησία του Αγίου Δημητρίου Μυκονιάτικα της Ιεράς Αρχιεπισκοπής Αθηνών δεν έχει κάποια ιδιαίτερη αρχιτεκτονική πρωτοτυπία. Φαίνεται να έχει υποστεί φθορά στη διάρκεια του χρόνου εξωτερικά. Στον προαύλιο χώρο υπάρχουν όμορφες γλάστρες που κοσμούν την είσοδο του Ιερού Ναού. Πάνω από τις εισόδους υπάρχουν, αριστερά, ανάγλυφες παραστάσεις του Αγίου Δημητρίου, Αγίου Χριστοφόρου, Ιησού Χριστού και του Αγίου Βασιλείου και δεξιά του Τρίμορφου (Θεοτόκος, Ιησούς Χριστός και Άγιος Ιωάννης ο Πρόδρομος). Σύμφωνα με μαρμάρινη πλάκα που υπάρχει στην είσοδο του Ιερού Ναού, ο ναός εθεμελιώθει την 28η Οκτωβρίου του 1970 υπό του Μακαριωτάτου Αρχιεπισκόπου Αθηνών και πάσης Ελλάδος κ.κ. Ιερωνύμου του Α'. Ανηγέρθη φροντίδι του εκκλησιαστικού συμβουλίου και του ομώνυμου συλλόγου ανεγέρσεως δαπάναις των ευσεβών ενοριτών, εφημερεύοντος του Αιδεσιμολογιωτάτου Πρωτοπρεσβυτέρου Βαϊλάκη Βασιλείου. Ενεκαινιάσθη εν έτη 1993 Ιουνίου 3 ευλογία και αδεία του μακαριωτάτου αρχιεπισκόπου Αθηνών και πάσης Ελλάδος κ.κ. Σεραφείμ υπό του Θεοφιλέστατου βοηθού Επισκόπου Ευρίπου κ.κ. Βασιλείου. Δεξιά και διακριτικά έξω από τον ιερό ναό υπάρχει έκθεσις χριστιανικού βιβλίου και εκκλησιαστικών ειδών. Στο σημείο αυτό υπάρχει και υπαίθριο προσκυνητάρι με κηροστάτη. Άγιε του Θεού πρέσβευε υπέρ ημών! At first sight, the church of Agios Dimitrios Mykoniatika of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens does not have any particular architectural originality. According to a marble slab that exists at the entrance of the Holy Temple, the church was founded on October 28, 1970 under the Blessed Archbishop of Athens and all of Greece, Mr. Jerome of A '. The care of the church council and the homonymous association was erected at the expense of the pious parishioners, on duty of the Most Reverend Elder Vailakis Vassilios. Renovated in the year June 3, 1993 blessing and permission of the Blessed Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Mr. Seraphim under the Most Theophile Assistant Bishop Euripus Mr. Kingdom. To the right and discreetly outside the sanctuary there is an exhibition of Christian books and ecclesiastical items. At this point there is an outdoor shrine with a candlestick.
