★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η εκκλησιά των Αβδήρων, τρίκλιτη βασιλική, γιορτάζει στις 26 Ιουλίου κάθε χρόνο. Πρόκειται για παλιό ναό που αρχικά χτίστηκε πριν το 1800 και έκτοτε έχει ανακατασκευαστεί και συντηρηθεί. Πέτρα και ξύλο κυριαρχούν εξωτερικά με το καμπαναριό της να δεσπόζει. Εσωτερικά το παλιό ξύλινο τέμπλο, ο άμβωνας και οι παλιές τοιχογραφίες τραβούν το βλέμμα του επισκέπτη.
The church of Abdera, a three-aisled basilica, is celebrated on July 26 each year. It is an old church originally built before 1800 and has been rebuilt and maintained ever since. Stone and wood dominate externally with its bell tower dominating. Inside, the old wooden iconostasis, the pulpit and the old frescoes catch the visitor's eye.
