★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ναός του Αγίου Παύλου, ο οποίος δίνει το όνομά στο ομώνυμο χωριό της επαρχίας Αποκορώνου, κοντά στο Γαβαλοχώρι χρονολογείται στον 16ο αιώνα. Έχει αποκατασταθεί και στο εσωτερικό του δε σώζονται τοιχογραφίες. Στο χώρο έχει εντοπιστεί νεκροταφείο του 12ου αιώνα, γεγονός που υποδεικνύει ότι υπήρχε παλαιότερος ναός. Στο εσωτερικό υπάρχει σταυρός που φέρει την χρονολογία 1886. Αξίζει να το επισκεφτείς!!
The church of Agios Pavlos, which gives its name to the homonymous village of the province of Apokoronas, near Gavalochori dates back to the 16th century. It has been restored and no frescoes are preserved inside. A 12th century cemetery has been located at the site, which indicates that there was an older church. Inside there is a cross that dates back to 1886. It is worth visiting !!
