★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ὁ Ναός θεμελιώθηκε τό 1936 ἀπό τόν μακαριστό Μητροπολίτη Σερρῶν καί Νιγρίτης Κωνσταντῖνο Μεγγρέλη καί ἐγκαινιάσθηκε ἀπό τόν ἴδιο στίς 3 Μαΐου τοῦ 1959. Εἶναι σταυροειδής μέ τροῦλο Ναός μέ μεταγενέστερη προσθήκη νάρθηκα. Ἡ διακόσμηση τοῦ Ναοῦ μέ ἁγιογραφίες βρίσκεται σέ ἐξέλιξη.
The church was founded in 1936 by the blessed Metropolitan of Serres and Nigrita Konstantinos Megrelis and was inaugurated by him on May 3, 1959. It is a cruciform church with a dome and later a narthex. The decoration of the Temple with paintings is in progress.
