★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ὁ Ἱερός Ναός τοῦ Ἁγίου Μεγαλομάρτυρος Δημητρίου τοῦ Μυροβλύτου εἶναι κτισμένος στό κέντρο τοῦ Παλαιοκάστρου. Ἀνεγέρθηκε τό 1983 καί ἕνα χρόνο ἀργότερα ἐγκαινιάσθηκε ἀπό τόν μακαριστό Μητροπολίτη Σερρῶν καί Νιγρίτης Μάξιμο. Εἶναι ρυθμοῦ τρίκλιτης καμαροσκεποῦς βασιλικῆς μέ γυναικωνίτη.
 The Holy Temple of Saint Megalomartyr Demetrius of Myrovlytos is built in the center of Paleokastro. It was erected in 1983 and a year later it was inaugurated by the blessed Metropolitan of Serres and Nigritis Maximos. It is a rhythm of a three-aisled vaulted basilica with a woman.
