★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little walk leading to amazing views and a fine place to swim at the bottom of the chapel. The water seems that it’s been pulled out of a dream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The church of the Seven Martyrs is a beautiful picturesque church located on top of a small hill, surrounded by a sea of its three sides, and without a doubt one of the most famous sites on the charming island Sifnos.
The church is located at the foot of the beautiful village Kastro, which was the island's capital many years ago and it is connected with it with a nice path that winds along the slope.
Do not miss a visit to the narrow alleys of the village, with its whitewashed houses, the picturesque sidewalks, the cafes and the small taverns. Breathe the clean air, enjoy the warmth of the charming and welcoming residents and the beauty and serenity of this magical place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoy a nice stroll through a tiny, tidy town as you make your way to the point. You will see some tourists (going the same place you are), but most of the people you will encounter will be locals. Walking down to the church is easy, with a nicely maintained stairs (walking back up the stairs will get your heart rate going). Your destination makes for great photo opportunities and that is about it. But the point is, you get to site see on foot and experience the Mediterranean first hand. You can also walk down to the water with a little effort.
