City Green Hotel - Daskalogianni & Zalogou

Stayed for a week. Beautiful room, very clean in the hotel. Food is ok, staff is more tired than friendly, location is great - so central, but for those who like the beach, note that hotel doesn't have sunbeds at the beach.

This hotel have something special... Amazing Staff. Everybody are so kind, always give you a smile, and can say few joyfull words in every leangue! Cook who is making fresh, hot meals in the restaurant has perfect taste, and great contact with guests. Bartenders are so kind and polite that you don't want to stop talk to them. Thanks to the Staff you can feel comfortable even of the restrictions cause of covid19 :) I'm manager of the restaurant and I can truly say that I dream about such a good team :) Rooms are very clean, food is delicious everybody can find something for themselves. Pools are also clean, and in the pool area there are a lot of sunbeds and umbrellas. I was in few hotels in the past, but non of them has so great staff - you are amazing guys, greetings from Poland! :)

All inclusive drinks are alkohol flavored - nothing more, watch out for diabetes disease! Food is bearable for max 3 days and you can notice how fried meat rolls are changing in some sauce base meat on the other day. I read comments during my visit and all of cons are true. If you decide to go to this hotel - plan it shortest you can

In my opinion this hotel should have maximum 3 stars not 4. Rooms are tiny, bathroom is like 1m X 1m. Shower curtain is basically touching toilet as it is next to it and when you're taking shower it sticks to your back constantly, issues with filling soap in dispenser also appears and our friends had not working hair dryer and even after mentioning the issue was not solved but rooms are cleaned every day. And there are some issues with hot water, as if many people will take shower in the same time there is only cold water going. Hotel itself is really loud, so you can hear everything what's happening - even when someone is talking in toilet in different room. Distance to the sea is like 8 min walk BUT there is no normal beach. It's all restaurants and pubs with chairs to the closest - "normal" but it's not nice - it's like 15-20 min walk. All inclusive is a joke when it comes to evening. Expect a queue for even 20 mins as there is one bartender. The old guy is setting the alarm at 23:00 so nobody will get served after that even though you have been waiting for 20 mins ... You can even see his smile when time comes up and he says to other people waiting in the queue that they will not be served today :) food was bad as it comes to quality, very monotonous, and we noticed they made one meal from leftovers from previous day. But it can be treated as being eco friendly ? every time you want to pick up something from buffet you need to wear mask and grab new pair of plastic gloves. And there is 45 min window for breakfast, dinner and supper with three different time slots. Ms Daria is very helpful so she was the best part of hotel itself. I would not recommend this place

Hotel is really clean and tidy with 2 swimming pools and a bar. Restaurant is located on the 4th floor with amazing view on the sea or the mountains. It was relatively busy when we stayed but there was always lot’s of food with a really good selection of local cuisine and fresh vegetables and fruits. There are bus stops just 2 min away, and if you follow the road down for next 2 min you are by the sea side already. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby to choose from. Staff was friendly and approachable. Alexia who works at reception helped us to choose few nice places to visit in nearby cities. Cleaning team and kitchen staff were all very friendly and happy to have a chat. In terms of food we always had a nice selection of fish, meet and local dishes for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was easy as you could have English breakfast, pancakes, pastries, musli “bar” and fresh fruits. Just so you know the free drinks (in all exclusive options) are based on local spirits - raki. It has a specific taste, a bit like a moonshine. But we really liked the strawberry drink and had it quite often. We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it!

Great hotel for adults only. Amazing wiev from the restaurant. On one side mountains, on the other the roofs of the city and sea. Rooms are very clean. Staff is amazing, helpful and chatty. Very good food ? It was a pleasure to stay there.

The hotel is currently overbooked, there are too many people here than the hotel can handle. Also, its supposed to be adults only but the quantity of teens here is insane. The food is mostly terrible, I don't even bother with breakfast anymore as it is almost completely sugar (chocolate cake, donuts, pancakes). I am woken up each morning just before 8am with the kitchen staff who sound like they are throwing plates and cutlery around the room because it is incredibly loud. I think its because our room is by the stairs? The sound seems to echo down the staircase- we are 2 floors down from the kitchen/restaurant! Any potato based food is undercooked, there is no food variety, but the soup is nice. Staff is really nice. The shower water gets EVERYWHERE.

Food cold and never enough at 19.30 hrs. Restaurant open 19.00 hrs !!!!! Would not rate it 4* ….rooms small and no privacy when sitting on balcony …lacks warmth and comfort… first 3 days husband spent his time complaining we had no hot water very disappointed as we had read all the reviews which rated hotel good … sorry I will not be rating it good … please ask Bar man by pool to stop smoking behind the bar !!!!
