Great swimming pool, good quality food, comfortable beds, clean rooms.

Good food, which change every day, you can use admiral, commodore and capitan's pools, and good views overall.

Xenos hotels have some nice views from the restaurant. Rooms are acceptable but nothing special. Small bathroom.

Very good value for money, and because there are very few British people, you can always get a sunbed. Nobody lays a towel down in the morning, and thinks they own the lounger

Bad WiFi!

Softdrinks awful. Cheap wine. Only beer was acceptable. Food average, but rather lower part of average. Pool dirty :( Opaque water. Guy at reception desk, drunk or incredible tired. Incredibly crowded space next to pool. Room... Just look at the photos. If you want to relax, choose different

As an English family that has just returned home after a week's holiday at the Commodore, we thaught some may find it useful to read an honist and comprehensive review of the hotel as we ourselves were slightly apprehensive prior to our arrival as a result of mixed-reveiws, especially by English guests. Food and drink: The food was of decent quality and offered a good range of choices at all meal times to suit almost everyone, however we appriciate that some may find these choices to be slightly repetative as there was generally only a few daily-variations for each meal, with the 'core-menu' despite being rather expansive, largely stayed the same. Inetween meals snacks such as cheese burgers, fries and ice cream where offered at the pool bars, and the drinks that where on offer such as wine, cold beer, soft drinks and spirits were what you'd expect to find at an all inclusive resort. Furthermore, in the main restraunt (Captains hotel) a spectacular view of the sea and coastline can be seen whilst you enjoy our meal. Rooms: During our stay our family of five occupied two family rooms, each containing three beds and one TV each. The rooms where clean, had a nice balcony and where modern in most ways apart from bad signal oftern rendering the analog TV black and white, a poorly-performing fridge, broken air-con unit and a lack of kettle/tea and coffee facilities. Location: The hotel is litterally a two-minute (very steep) downhill walk from the lively local shops, bars and restraunts. This was a breath of fresh air compared to the ten-or-so minute walk needed to get anywhere in the otherwise equally-lovely and near-by town of Tsilivi, which we stayed at two months before our holiday in Argassi. Furthermore, it is possible to get a taxi for under €8 to the picturesque Zakinthios town if a change of scenery is desired. General: The staff where very friendly and all spoke perfect English, with signs/notice boards being written in both English and Polish. The Hotel had three good sized pools with just as many bars, as well as nightly entertainment in the pool bar ranging from Greek music nights to 80's disco, with a quiter reception bar with a pool table for a more relaxing evening. Conclusion: We would certainly reccommed this hotel to others, as whilst it has it's minor issues (as stated during the review) we still managed to thoroughly enjoy our time here, and will without a doubt be returning in the future.

Hotel from 1990. Refreshed in 2018 but still need some work. It's impossible to catch stable wi-fi connection. A/C sounds like tractor. If you are all inclusive guest you can use facilities from whole complex! (3 hotels).
