CORFU DIVE CLUB - Tzavrou

I had a great day diving with Dimitrios and Ernesto. They are a relaxed, friendly, and safety conscious team. Dimitrios took us to a local dive site, we saw great variety of fish, octopus, - and other surprises.. Would definitely recommend Corfu Dive Club.

Very friendly and experienced instructor and dive master! I completed my "PADI" open water and advanced open water courses at Corfu Dive Club! Definitely something you should do if you are planning a visit in Corfu, even if you are not an experienced diver and you what to try scuba diving for the first time.

I can echo Oleh’s comments. For me, the attitude of the instructor / guide is paramount to a positive diving experience. Criticism must be put across in the correct way, attitude must be correct etc. From the beginning I was put a little off-guard by the unfriendliness of the instructor and, although he smiled when criticising, it didn’t seem so genuine. Some disagreements in casual, normal conversation. Maybe this is slightly more of a ‘Greek communication style’? We had to carry the tanks on our shoulders for quite a bit to get to the tiny “dive center” above the beach you dive from. I had to prove with a dive log that I needed a 15L tank. There was no QR code I could use for my SSI app to have a ‘verified dive’ and the instructor seemed almost offended when I asked... I would like to contrast this experience directly with the next dive center we went to - “Achilleon Diving Center” over on the west side. They have both German and English speakers, are funny, enthusiastic, friendly, they have a boat which takes you out, the dives are much more tropical and fun, and they have no problems offering you a 15L dive tank if you need one right away. Go check my review of that one which I’ll post shortly. The dive itself was okay, nothing really special to see on this side of the island. The helper was very helpful with assembling and disassembling our equipment - Ernesto - thanks! The dive was quite private, only one other guy, so if you want to dive without too many tourists I would say this is a good one to choice for that. Also afterwards the dive suits and equipment were cleaned for us so we didn’t have to worry about that. I would recommend this dive center just to have the experience and then enjoy the West side as well.

Thanks to Ernesto at Corfu Dive Club for looking after us under such difficult conditions. He was very helpful and friendly, he did a great job for our dive crew. It was a big workout one to remember!

We have had a great time and scuba experience. Dimitrios is very nice and friendly, we made an equiry on the website in the evening and he has responded in minutes and the next morning we were out diving. He is very calm and you can see he has helped many people with their first scuba diving experience as he knows how to approach first timers. I was a bit anxious and had so many questions, but stay put, he will answer every bit before you get to even ask. We felt safe and looked after and I hope everybody has a similar instructor and experience.

Contacted Corfu Diveclub weeks prior to fly .very friendly and helpful when we arrived we received friendly welcome ? we had 2 beautiful deep Dives with these guys loved it ?‍♀️ Fully recommend you gave these a call you won't be Disappointed ?‍♀️ ?

My girlfriend and I spent a few days doing our PADI courses with Dimitrios and Ernesto. Both extremely knowledgeable and confidence inspiring, not to mention friendly and personable. My experience of learning to dive was excellent!
