Best Holiday apartment in Greece

T	Torben Köster on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Super mit dem PKW erreichbar. Tolles Frühstück. Sollte man definitiv dazu buchen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, allerdings etwas altbacken und erneuerungswürdig. Die Küche ins funktionell, hat aber auch schon ihre besten Tage hinter sich. Die Betten sind groß und bequem und für diejenigen, die gerne abends noch mal die Glotze anschalten: man bekommt alle gängigen deutschen TV Kanäle in super Qualität ;-). Das Örtchen ist nicht sehr touristisch, dennoch hat man zwei wirklich nette Tavernen in direkter Nähe. Die Badeorte Elafonissi (ca 1 Stunde), Balos (ca 45 min) und Falissana (ca 30 min) und der Ort Chania (20 min) sind sehr gut erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und etwas Kultur/Nightlife gibt es im ca 5 km entfernten Kissamos. Fazit: Es lohnt sich absolut hier abzusteigen, man wird gut umsorgt und man kann perfekt abschalten. Für Ausflüge ist es super gelegen. Auch um auf der Terrasse abends noch ein Bier oder Wein zu trinken ist das Hotel gut geeignet. Leider hat das Hotel seine besten Tage hinter sich und könnte eine kleine Renovierung vertragen. Daher einen Punkt Abzug. PS: Wir hatten blöderweise eine Nacht zu viel gebucht, die uns sofort vom Chef zurück erstattet wurde, was ich wirklich klasse fand, weil ich sowas auch ganz anders kenne. Very friendly hosts. Easy to reach by car. Great breakfast. You should definitely book in addition. The rooms are spacious, but a bit old-fashioned and in need of renovation. The kitchen is functional, but it has already seen its best days. The beds are large and comfortable and for those who like to turn on the telly in the evening: you get all the usual German TV channels in great quality ;-). The village is not very touristy, but you have two really nice taverns in the immediate vicinity. The seaside resorts of Elafonissi (approx. 1 hour), Balos (approx. 45 min) and Falissana (approx. 30 min) and the place Chania (20 min) are very easy to reach. There are shops and some culture / nightlife in Kissamos, about 5 km away. Conclusion: It is absolutely worth staying here, you are well looked after and you can switch off perfectly. It is in a great location for excursions. The hotel is also ideal for having a beer or wine on the terrace in the evening. Unfortunately the hotel is past its best days and could use a little renovation. Hence one point deduction. PS: Stupidly, we had booked one night too much, which was immediately refunded to us by the boss, which I really liked, because I know something very different.

Frühstück jeden Morgen individuell gestaltet mit verschiedensten süssen und pikanten Leckereien serviert auf der eigenen Terrasse. Toller Pool. Nettes Personal. Süsse Kätzchen. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Great apartment with great breakfast service. Equipped with everything you need. Breakfast every morning individually designed with a wide variety of sweet and savory delicacies served on your own terrace. Great pool. Nice personel. Cute kittens. We'll be back for sure.
C	Cees on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastische beschutte plek met een aantal identieke appartementen verdeeld over bgg en eerste etage. Voldoende privacy op de ruime balkons. Mooi groot en schoon zwembad waar diverse strandbedje en strandstoelen omheen staan. Iedere morgen een afwisselend ontbijt met lokale gerechtjes. 3x per week schoon beddengoed en om de andere dag schone handdoeken en een theedoek. Appartement zelf word ook prima schoon gehouden. Keuken is niet echt geschikt om zelf uitgebreide maaltijden te maken maar kleine gerechten zou moeten lukken. Goede maar wel smalle douche. Inrichting voor onze begrippen sober maar niet anders dan de meeste Griekse appartementen. Goede WiFi, wasmachine beschikbaar die gratis mag worden gebruikt evenals een aantal fietsen. Op 2 minuten lopen is een kiezelstrand bij restaurant "Ble" waar je gratis gebruik kan maken van de parasol en strandbedje als klant van het restaurant. Naast "Ble" zit restaurant "Porphyra" dit is een absolute aanrader voor authentiek Griek eten. Toch een puntje van kritiek, de tuin aan de kant van appartement 8 & 9 wordt gebruikt als kattenbak door de vele katten die er lopen, dit stinkt soms behoorlijk. Verder niets dan lof voor de vriendelijke medewerkers, de lokatie en het appartement. Fantastic sheltered spot with a number of identical apartments spread over ground floor and first floor. Sufficient privacy on the spacious balconies. Nice large and clean pool with several sunbeds and beach chairs around it. Every morning a varied breakfast with local dishes. Clean bed linen 3 times a week and clean towels and a tea towel every other day. The apartment itself is also kept very clean. Kitchen is not really suitable for making extensive meals yourself, but small dishes should work. Good but narrow shower. The decor is sober for our standards, but no different from most Greek apartments. Good WiFi, washing machine available which can be used for free as well as some bicycles. A pebble beach at restaurant "Ble" is a 2-minute walk away, where you can use the parasol and beach bed for free as a customer of the restaurant. Next to "Ble" is restaurant "Porphyra" which is an absolute must for authentic Greek food. Still a point of criticism, the garden on the side of apartment 8 & 9 is used as a litter box by the many cats that walk there, this sometimes stinks quite a bit. Nothing but praise for the friendly staff, the location and the apartment.

The kitchen is small but functional - with some creativity you can prepare some food for 2 people.The apartment was cleaned every day. It was calm during the night so you can have a relaxed sleep. The breakfast for 7 euros per person is also very good. The location is on the countryside but there are a few tavernas within a short walking distance. The beach nearby is not that pretty but you can have some nice walks. We really enjoyed our stay and the whole family is very friendly. We would come back :)
