Costas Beach Hotel - Ipsos

+ Location, Breakfast - Bathroom is really small (full grown men can't turn around fully in the shower without knocking something over), drainage smells awful after one day, really small rooms, beds are uncomfortable (both wooden and steel beds), staff is unfriendly, wifi close to useless (most of the time I had to use the wifi from "Zorbas", which is the restaurant next to it)

Room is tiny. Bathroom too small. Horrible WiFi. Room Service only once in 4 days. Owner unfriendly. Mattresses uncomfortable.

Amazing experience in this place, very happy with the accommodation and its services and the friendliness of the staff. He received us with great affection and always at the disposal of what we needed. 10 points, we will be back.

Please find another place to stay. The staff is too rude to stand such a behaviour. They trully encourage you to leave. No prb, so many nice Greeks and nice places to stay. Good luck to bankruptcy! I never stay to your hotel because you encouraged me to find another place instead of a warm welcome.

My wife and I stopped for lunch today. The staff were the most kind people,engaging in conversation. The food was excellent home cooked and reasonably priced. The couple running the restaurant also engaged in helping a German family with children in a very caring way. It was delightful to hear German and Greek communicating bothering the common language of - English! What will happen at the end of the month. Avery good start to our holiday.

First and foremost, most of the negative comments should be deemed as utterly wrong and false. As a customer who’s also in the hotel business for a few years, I can only praise the professionalism and customer service oriented attitude of host Andreas; in fact very rarely you will see hotel employees or even owners of hotels so willful to help out and make you feel like home. Andreas did that and I thank him cordially. He literally saved us as well since during the last day of our short trip to the Corfu island, we were informed that we had to catch the steam boat due to bad weather in just an hour or otherwise we would be stranded. The very last minute, as funny as it may sound, our room key broke due to our anxiety to catch the boat but Andreas managed to remove it from the keyhole with a wrench and opened the door for us with another key in order us to pick up our luggage and run to the port! Not only that but he did follow up on us with a phone call to see if we made it and that was very nice of him. He performed marvelously. Now in regards to the rooms and facilities of the Costas Beach Hotel, the rooms are pretty large and are supplied with HD TV, mini-fridge, wardrobe, and spacious beds with decent mattresses. There are clean towels to be found as well as other necessities which are packed nicely, following the Coronavirus regulations. The bathroom is alright and people shouldn’t comment negatively about it since it’s really fine and it works. After all, Costas Beach Hotel is a great budget hotel. There are multiple other choices around for more quid for those who prefer more luxurious settings. But hey, why pay more if Costas Beach Hotel is perfect as it is with an excellent and heartwarming host? The balconies are also nice and offer a wonderful view of the seaside. I suggest to fellow travelers to pick up some local Corfu-made Cabernet Sauvignon wine from the nearby grocery stores and have a glass at night watching the waves and listening to the sounds of the night. All in all, my family and I have had a great experience by staying at this hotel and I definitely recommend it! It’s a really good choice and while it offers affordability it doesn’t lack in customer service and facilities. Choose it!

The Room is very small, but give you everything you need. You can také shower in front of the hotel on the beach, and this is great. The owner is very helpfull and really good man. Room cleaning is each 2 days and it's okay. We cannot choice better place for this price with this level of acommodation and services. Everything you need is very closed. If something is missing just tell it to the owner and he will do his best. We are family with two children.

The hotel owner is kind at times, but more often than not very very rude. For instance one evening we left on the room electricity to charge our phones while we went out to eat. After noticing this the owner was furious and had a real anger attack. While I understand his wish to save on electricity, this is a common practice in many hotels and either way does not justify screaming at the customers. The room was rather small, the shower was tiny. Cleaning staff showed up once in a week. The location however was really great, near good restaurants and only meters away from the beach.
