Best Farmstay in Greece

R	Rebekka Troychanskiy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely perfect day with Marianna and her mom Stela. The farm and the space where the class takes place is beautiful, we were lucky with weather but they have covers in case of rain or strong winds. Marianna was super communicative ahead of time with directions and to answer questions. They welcomed us with homemade refreshments, we cooked a 5-course meal all with fresh ingredients right from the farm. The Cretan food was delicious (of course), and we learned many new things even though we are both quite experienced cooks already, and Marianna and Stela were wonderful about answering our questions. They are such warm, kind-hearted people and it was a very well-organized day. I can't say enough good things about Cretan Vibes! Go!
L	Luigi Brusco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful day in family!! We were going there with the best feeling of passing a day learning something while having fun. The Cretan Vibes did more, actually: we felt like being all relatives, all part of the same family. For me was like cooking in family, like knowing them since ever: so joking and having fun while working (actually cooking in this case). It was a wonderful experience, Marianna and mama Stella accomodate us very warmly and like family member. We had fun and cooked several dishes: from 5 expected, we finally did 7 among main recipes and variations. Marianna gave the recipes to all the attendees and we visited (with a little tour, explained by Marianna herself) also the family garden, at the farm where we were doing the class. Mama Stella is a very warm and king mom, we felt like being her nephews. We had the chance of knowing Marianna's father and we ate all together after then end of the class (of cooking): again, as you usually do in a family. Many thanks for the great experience and the bond it created among us.
M	Mathieu Lessard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not someone how loves cooking, not at all in fact… and I’m not good at it, but my wife booked that experience with Marianna and to be honest… it was OUTSTANDING! I loved it so much! The food was great! Marianna and grandma were amazing! What I’ve loved too is that even if I’m not a cook, it was easy to do with the teaching of Marianna ! Recommend 1000% !!!!!

We were welcomed onto their idyllic farm with a glass of fresh lemonade. It was a beautiful setting for the class - held on a restored patio overlooking their farm. They were wonderful teachers and such kind people. They made the preparation of the food easy and fun. Then we sat down and enjoyed the meal together. The food was AMAZING. It was crazy delicious food, one of my top meals we ate in Greece. I, of course, highly recommend this class! It will be a highlight to your Grecian adventures.

We were so excited to participate in this cooking class and it exceeded all expectations. The preparation was flawless. Everything was timed perfectly so that the food was ready at the same time. Our sweet hosts made an accommodation for one member of our party that needed a food substitution. We learned so much and loved seeing this mother/daughter team work with such passion! The food was impeccable and we would have stayed all day! It felt like we became lifelong friends! I cannot recommend this enough! You will have no regrets!

We learned some tasty Cretan recipes that we've cooked since our return to California. The outdoor kitchen was great - equipped with everything we needed for our class. When it came to the cooking process, Marianna and Mama Stela were patient, organized and passionate to share their knowledge. We were honored to learn about life on the farm, some history of the local dishes we cooked and made meaningful connections with our hosts. We have wonderful memories that we will hold on to for life! I recommend them wholeheartedly!

Marianna knew a lot about Crete and the traditional cuisine. The kitchen was outside in the middle of an orchard of olive trees. After cooking we ate the dishes together with a glass of local wine. In short, five well deserved stars for Marianna and her mother
C	Cameron Grogan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would 100% recommend this experience! We have visited a few different cooking classes in different places but this one was particularly great. Marianna and Stela made us feel so welcome and walked us through some of their favourite traditional Cretan recipes. As well as the fact that the cooking itself was so well explained, the whole environment was so friendly and social, with lots of added extras (homemade drinks, garden tours, fresh homegrown produce etc). Situated on a Cretan olive farm, the surroundings couldn't have been more authentic and watching the sunset while cooking overlooking the hills was such a fantastic experience! This was the best thing we experienced whilst in Crete! Thank you so much for a great time!
