Μέτρια δωμάτια, απροθυμία του ιδιοκτήτη να πληρωθεί με κάρτα και να κόψει απόδειξη

Απίστευτη θέα, σε ένα απο τα κεντρικότερα σημεία της περιοχής, πάνω από το κύμα. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν ευγενεστατοι και πάντα εξυπηρετικοί, μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Τα δωμάτια πολύ άνετα, καθαρά με όλες τις απαραίτητες ανέσεις, ακόμα και για εμάς που ήμασταν οικογένεια με μωρό. Περάσαμε μερικές από τις καλύτερες ημέρες των διακοπών μας, σίγουρα θα τους προτιμήσουμε ξανά.

Spacy holiday apartments with a nice view to the sea and the mountains. Near the beach and the restaurants.

Perfect for families. There's a sandy beach just down the hill and a pebbled beach just the other side. A short walk and you reach a lively stretch of beach just infront of the landlords shop. Found the landlord very welcoming friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would certainly return! Thank you for helping us enjoy our stay.x.

I booked an offseason room as I happen to be traveling offseason. Arrived to find the room not ready, and I was put in a different location than what was booked. Not wanting to make waves, I said OK. Then the electricity went out for 3.5 hours (only in this location!) Next door fine ...) - I was cool about it. When it finally came on, my room was freezing. No option for heating, it was 52F and raining outside. I decided to go and ask the owner about the heating and took the key from the wall light socket, unlocked the door with the key in the door and went out to go and call him. The door closed behind me and I had no idea that it would then lock! Locks in the US require a key to lock them. The owner and his VERY AGGRESSIVE wife, not only told me that I would have to pay EXTRA for heating, 'but what should I expect for what I paid" (37.45 Euro! for a single room). Manos, the 'owner' who turned out not to be the owner, then told me that to unlock the door they would have to call a locksmith and I would have to pay. THIS IS A HOTEL! It was now dark, rainy 9pm and all my belongings including my phone, keys, purse etc inside the room. He then refused to call the police, and told me to walk in the dark in a general direction and that I could go and get them myself. Needless to say, they were not to be found. Upon finding my way back in the deserted village in the dark, he had a locksmith there whom I had to pay - in cash of course, 50 Euro. At least in the USA, a landlord and/or hotel has an obligation to heat a property to 66 degrees. Seems that in Crete, no such laws exist when renting your hotel rooms. Also in the US, hotel owners have doors that can be opened in an emergency without a tenant paying a locksmith.! The way they handled it all was scary, uncalled for, and greedy.
